Hey there friends! Sorry it's been soooooo long since I've posted for you!
First off, kudos to us for hitting over 500 views! Especially with no new posts since the 400 guests.
Second off, Vera is having auditions tomorrow evening for the Summer tour! It's sure to be an exciting time! Meesh & Tucker's Big Adventure is officially over.
I believe I am still the costume designer... that may have changed on me but maybe not. I am no longer creative director.... and as far as meesh the clown she is gone.....
I am auditioning for the Summer tour but we shall see we shall see........ Until next time.

Long Time No Post
Hey all you Vera fans! Meesh the Clown here to say a quick friendly hello! Things are a little slow for this clown right now, "Meesh & Tucker's Big Adventure" has come to an end but that's ok it was so much fun while it lasted!
We have some awesome exciting new things coming your way very soon so no worries you won't even have enough time to miss us. We added another member to our family! Her name is Sarah and she's way cool, she makes sure this scatter brained clown keeps it together and doesn't lose her nose! Other than that there's no huge news. Until next time!

Back to the ol' ruitine
Hello Vera fans, Meesh friends, and everyone else who I have not recognized!
Miss Meesh the clown (and a few of her fine feathered friends) are headed back to school! That's right. I am getting back into the swing of things! I'm very excited to be going back! Lots of fun times and crazy nights are sure to come with!
Sorry for the lack of updates! It's been a crazy hectic busy summer and I am sorry for abandoning you! But! While back at school I'm sure I will have a ton of fabulous moments, rehearsals, and performances to share with all of you!

Woo-Hoo!
Well hello there Vera and Meesh friends and fans! I hope all is well with all of you! I am getting very excited! Move in is approaching quickly and I cannot wait! I get to see everyone again soon! Especially my beloved TUCKER THE CLOWN! I'm ridiculously excited!
In other news the boss man came to visit the other day HOORAH! It was quite an enjoyable visit. Never just a visit with him however, haha I was juggling and diabolo-ing for him. Gotta keep my practice up.

Note To Self
So I have found out the hard way, though I should have know, that going even ONE day without practicing my juggling will make me ridiculously sloppy!
Other updates, Diabolo is still proving difficult for me but I'm grabbing the bull by it's horns and tackling this mess!
Also "Judy Garland: By Myself" is amazing, I highly recommend it! Along with "The Greatest Show On Earth" and "UP". Well until my next post!

It's a Kitten!
Hello Friends and fans! Just a quick update to let you know I have a kitten! She is a calico kitten I think she is part tabby cat. Anyways, she's adorable! She was a stray and we took her in. We have named her Scribble.
I am trying to train her for the circus haha. She is afraid of the hoola-hoop and also my juggling balls, the sound scares here so we've given up on that for now, but she can jump from one knee to the other so there is still some hope!
She is the most precious thing! But! She is also a bit sick I think she got in a fight before we found her. So please keep your hopes up for my new kitten! Thanks! Until my next post then!

Oh What a Silly Clown
Hello there fans, friends, and Meeshers!
After many attempts and endless nights trying to learn "diablo" I FINALLY realize why I just wasn't getting it...... I was spelling it wrong! Yes, it has come to my attention that the yo-yo type thing-a-ma-jigger that I am trying to master is actually a DIABOLO! Now that I have that cleared up I am finally making some more progress. I have learned a new trick and am trying to learn more..... thing is trying to balance between juggling WHICH I ALMOST HAVE I CAN DO IT!!! and diabolo, well it's just a mess.
In other news, I met Herman out shrunken head, and I am looking forward to naming the tigershark that has arrived. I hope my name choice wins! But it probably won't.... so I'll just have to name my shoe or some other object that.... Until my next post!

Cold as Fire, Hot as Ice!
Hello my dearest fans! Oo! A fan would be nice right now! As most of you probably know, IT'S TOO HOT OUT! Well, not too hot, but it's soooooo hot! I was practicing my juggling today! Despite the heat trying to give me a stroke I am surprisingly even closer to being able to juggle! Correction: I CAN juggle.... but not for long periods of time. I'm so close I want to cry!

The Greatest Show on Earth
Hey there Circus Lovers, Clown Fans, and Meesh Friends!
So I just finished watching "The Greatest Show on Earth" again and I've decided that everyone should see it. This is one of the best movies of all time. You can see the whole thing at sawdustnights.blogspot.com

Food For Thought

Did you know that you can throw your back out juggling? Well, at least learning to juggle... mhm! True story. One of my new friends who's been juggling for 20 years I think he said told me the other day that it's happened to him. I started practicing today and boy does my back ache! Just thought I'd share! It's not as easy as it looks! We're not mokeying around here!
So last weekend I learned how to eat fire... I was terrified! But I have faith in my boss so when he said "No worries! If you catch fire I'll stop, drop, and roll you!" I believed him and swallowed that flame! I did it right the first time the second time I sorta burnt myself, so DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!
I don't have too much else for you all but I thought I'd share that bit of info with you. until my next post!

Crazy Intense Devil's Rehearsal
Hey there fans! Hope all is well! So this weekend was probably the greatest rehearsal for Vera to date!
So, what was so great about it? First off it was one of the longest rehearsals we've had, which sounds terrible, but really helped with going over our routines constantly! I am SO close to getting juggling completely down! Tucker hula-hooped for hours on end and went from not being able to hula-hoop at all, to pull off all these crazy things! Brett is getting ridiculous with his hand balancing! I can't explain how proud I am of all of our performers!
Other than working on our individual acts we busted our tooshies styling. Yes, it was great. All of us improved a tremendous amount in this area. Tucker and I also worked on the differences between clown styling and the other styling. We worked on a lot of crazy things, and some of us (mostly me!) got some bruises. But over all the exercise was great and helped a whole lot with spotting the weaknesses in our styling.
Tucker and I changed some things about our existing gags and skits and we added another... We're still playing with the main storyline and the underlying story, it's coming along well.
Some new costumes arrived and look amazing! I'm also going to be working on about... FIFTEEN more costumes for the tour. Which is very exciting for me! Beautiful things are happening in the costume department.
Other than all of those things the Vera family is doing great, we're still having a blast and miss each other constantly. Until my next post then!

Some Late Clowning Around
Hey there fans! Sorry my updates have been few and far between lately... well since my birthday anyways :)
Some of the Vera cast may take a trip to visit another circus and show some support! I'm excited! I love meeting new people...ESPECIALLY NEW CLOWNS! So that is part of the plans for next week.
Also, Vera has a rehearsal coming up. It's going to be a big one! I bet a lot of across the floors, and other types of crazy warm-ups will be used and then Ithink we're learning...NEW STUFF!!! Oh yes, new stuff! Or maybe just working on our super awesomeold stuff.
What have I been doing since my birthday? Well, I'm glad you asked! I've been trying to master that darn art of juggling and it's just not coming to me, but the boss said try a half hour in the day and a half hour right before you go to bed... so maybe that'll work soon. I've also been creating more costumes! And Looking at costumes with Logan, well some of them anyways. I've created some pants for Tucker, and a new dress for me and now I'm working on a vest. I'm pretty excited! It always makes me smile when something comes out right! Or terribly wrong :-P my first attempt withthe pants was no good, I accidentally sewed the legs together, but! I fixed it I swear! Tucker won't be a merman... WE ALREADY HAVE A MERMAID! Yes, Vera now has added a real mermaid to their show! Again, so excited!

Hudson Happy Days
Hey there Vera Fans! (and the marvelous Meesh fans!) Just got back from Hudson for the "open house" or as I like to call it a grad party haha.
It was crazy times leading up to the performance! We were down two performers.... Brett was off doing his thing, and our poor Tucker the clown was sick with all sorts of things that made him unable to perform. Slowly but surely he is feeling better though so NO WORRIES!
As for the show! our marvelous boss Logan really stepped it up and covered a LOT of the acts that needed to be picked up, he's pretty much the most talented boss I've ever had! Hannah made it back and as always did a grad job with her machete ladder of death, and our own Graham stepped up and took over the bed of nails! We were all so proud of him! As for me, I did a solo performance without my better half Tucker, and it sort of worked... I loved our audience they were awesome! Without them it would ahve been a flop so thanks so much to that audience for all the support!
Circus Vera is getting ready for a lot of changes, make-up, some more costume changes, among other things so exciting things on the way for our August tour! Hope to see you fans very soon.
I'm preparing for my brithday this up and coming weekend! I'm excited! I love birthdays!

So, Circus Vera will me heading to Michigan! Yes it's true we are reaching farther to our fans out of Ohio! Our very own Graham has a little brother that is graduating! CONGRATS!
Sadly the Brett Strauss will not be joining us but, while he will be missed! We still expect a great show! Some new costume parts are being added to the show, and we might be getting some new make-up to play with! Yes, I am excited, it's a dull life for a clown haha.

Strongman Festival
Well, the strongman festival was... interesting! Everyone, except Hannah, managed to show up. Hannah is currently spending time on a Navajo trip so she is bettering her understanding of that. Our dear friend Catherine stood in as the Diva of Danger, she was just spledid!
The show was broken up between the strongmen's acts, which was odd for us but it still worked. The costumes looked beautiful, *there I go tooting my horn again*, and I think we all had a great time.
Tucker's birthday was wonderful, I believe he had a good time clownin' around.

Sorry for the lack of updates
Sorry readers! The busy-ness never ceases in the circus world! It's been crazzy and hectic but I'm loving every minute of it!
The rehearsals I promised an update about went remarkably well and led to a marvelous show for Circus Vera's debut. I can truly say clownin', for me, is better than just plain acting. IT'S AMAZING! That being said the show was a hit and so much fun not only for us but I believe for the audience as well.
I have been informed that I am now not only Meesh the Clown, but I am also Meesh the costume designer. This is very exciting for mebecause, well, I love making clothes. Making clothes for the circus is even better because I get to be crazy with my ideas! I've reinforced the straight jacket so that there are no mishaps while the Dr. of escapology is well, escaping haha. I have also finished the costumes for the Strongman Festival this weekend, and now I am working on a few of the costumes for the tour. I just want to toot my own horn for a bit, but I am pretty confident that these costumes will be a crowd pleaser.
In other news my partner Tucker's birthday is this weekend while we are at the festival and I am so excited to see him! *sniffle* They grow up so fast! Anywho be sure to wish him a happy birthday on the Vera blogpage or here if you'd like. I believe he has his own twitter now so even catch him there with a happy birthday!

Three rehearsals and then the show. The nerves are overwhelming! Tensions are high. I have complete confidence in our show but we are going in to the lion's den rehearsal tomorrow which means any changes that are going to be made are going to happen tomorrow and then the show can't be touched again. I feel like some things might be dropped but then again a whole bunch of things might be added. I've picked up the diablo again and the ceiling is ruining my plans on making it work. I got used to tossing it too high!
I'll let you (non readers since no one but myself reads this!) know how the lion's den rehearsal goes.

WEEK OF SHOW
So it's the week of the show and OH BOY IT'S STRESSFUL! It's crunch time and a few of us are starting to crack under the pressure. My energy is up but that's because some new things have happened and well let's just say I'm happy, it's interfereing just a smidge with ONE of my acts but we're working on it. I'll just have to step up my acting skills.
Logan is getting sick, ok, not getting sick he IS sick. He's a "warrior" so he hates medicine and basically refuses to take it so I don't know how to make him better. All my mom insticts are screaming SAVE YOUR CHILD! But Logan is screaming I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF! I just feel terrible that he feels terrible. But we shall see what happens
We're pulling rehearsals every day this week until the show. So much is going on it's hectic. But I'm still completely confident that the show is going to light up everyone's day it's just such a fun show that people can't help but enjoy themselves.

Just this one time
Hey guys!
So we're starting full run-through rehearsals which is exciting. I'm really excited about the show, looking at all the acts finally coming together, it just looks awesome. I'm really starting to get my character I think. Tucker and I are doing really well with our improv and bouncing off each other. I'm getting better at hating Cassy on stage which is funny considering everything else that is going on right now. Anyways! The costume are supposed to be started today (Wednesday) but I have no material yet! I'm not worried though, I'm pretty sure the costumes are gonna be awesome.
There's not really too much more to say, just really excited about everything that's happening right now. I mean I feel a bit rushed with our school musical coming up and then the circus vera show and another one really close, and just work, and the school workload and other awesome things on top of that. Just a lot of things all smashing together. But I'm excited and so happy right now I think that's helping my energy and development of my clown character.

Hoppy Clown Days
Hey guys!
So I'm on my Easter weekend break right now. Not doing too much clowning but I AM trying to master the art of Diablo. It's so much harder than it looks. I'm getting a lot better at throwing it and catching it. I've found (for the most part) it's easier to catch it the higher you throw. So we'll see, but so far the only trick I can do is throwing it in the air, I need to figure out how to do everything else. Youtube is gonna be my new best friend until I can figure these out!
Not really too much else to let you know about. Just a side note for you guys I just heard a whole lot of music from "tales From the Bad Years". It's so good! I fell in love with it instantly. It's really cute too you should check it out on yourtube if you get a chance, try um... 'pretty girl blues", or "not her way" OR! "Just this one time". good stuff I'm telling you.
Oh! the costumes are coming to a rush to get them done for the show. I still haven't fully taken in that this is really going to happen. I mean I'm way excited and I'm taking it seriously but the whole summer tour and stuff hasn't sunk in yet. We'll see where this crazy rolelrcoaster ride takes me.

First day of Clowning
Hey everyone! Just figured I'd set up my own blogsite to give you the inside scoop on what's going on with the Meeshosters in the world of Vera. By the way you can see what's going on with the rest of the cast at Circusvera.blogspot.com
Anyways. Huge rehearsal last night. the rehearsal itself was a huge success for the overall group but it seemed like I was having an off night I suppose. I think I just need to develope my character more and figure out how to hit my bottom levels. Of the three levels I have mastered the "over-the-cave" level but I jsut can't hit my middle as well, I get it but it's a struggle to get there and my bottom level is basically non-existant. I don't know, I'm going to keep working with it but I jsut have no creative ways to get to the bottom levels. There are jsut some days when I get discouraged with the circus but I suck it up and put on my clown face and get through it.
I'm really proud of Tucker though he's really stepping it up now that he's established an actual character for his clown. His character voice is priceless. He's been struggling with energy issues for a while but now he's just oozing with energy. The only downfall of his new character development is that he's banking too much on his new voice to carry the skit than his physical comedy. he jsut hasn't learned to balance it yet, but I have complete faith that he'll figure it out quick enough.
The rest of the cast is doing fantastic. I'm glad Josh slowed down a considerable amount because for a while I honestly thought he was going to seriously hurt himself. Brett has come a long way as well he's pushing himself to learn hand balancing and he's making leaps and bounds in contortion. Cassy is doing awesome breaking out of her shell as the lecturer. She's so much mroe confident in herself and she doesn't seem so robotic anymore.
Logan has been doing a fantastic job keeping up with individual cast members and school and booking us summer gigs, I don;t know how he does it but he's kicking ass. He's doing a great job of demanding attention and being seen as an athority figure and seperating that from outside of rehearsals when we're just all really close friends again.
